• Wendyhouses are used as guard huts, temporary accomodation, tool sheds, storage space, etc.
• Because a wendyhouse structure is identified as a loose standing non-permanent structure it is not subject to SABS standards or mentioned in the building code or regulations.
• Always check with your local council regarding regulations surrounding your planned wendyhouse.
• Quality can be determined by the timber used, thickness of the wood and construction method, like tongue and groove.
• The exterior should be sealed to prevent weather damage.
